AMERICAN SAFARI

World Premiere
Actors Theatre of Phoenix, AZ
January 2001

Synopsis

AMERICAN SAFARI takes a humorous yet poignant look at suburbia of the 50's and 60's as seen through the eyes of the hapless everyman Arthur A. Peterson. Peterson's sheltered life is turned upside down when he unexpectedly wins a trip to Disneyland. On a cross-country trip in a miniature '57 Chevy convertible, Peterson get an up close and slightly bizarre view of the world beyond his own backyard.

Barbecues, lawn chaIrs and the neighbors will never seem the same!
